In a statement 500 Iraqi jurists and lawyers condemned the continued propaganda and misinformation campaign by the mullahs’ regime and its agents in Iraq against residents of Ashraf and members of the PMOI that is considered a war crime according to the International law.

The Iraqi jurists also in their statement protested against the misuse of state run T.V. “Al-Iraqia” against the PMOI and called the refusal of this state T.V. to broadcast the response of PMOI to these false allegations as a fundamental right of the PMOI, a clear indication of breach of law in serving the Iran’s Ministry of intelligence and the terrorist Qods force to terrorize politically and culturally the Iraqis and Iranians who are opponents to the Iranian regime.

The Iraqi jurists and lawyers referred to latest misinformation campaign against a resident of Ashraf ‘Somayeh Mohammadi’ and false accusations by the terrorist Qods Force and agents of the Iranian intelligence ministry (MOIS) about her abduction.

The jurists referred to the fact that she had visited her family in presence of US officers for 9 timesand by referring to the third common article in all Geneva conventions and third, sixth and thirteenth and from seventeenth to twenty first articles of Universal Declaration of Human Rights announced: Our question is why an official organ of our country Iraq is violating the law and has become the speaker of Iranian MOIS and terrorist Qods corps and their agents is at their service?

We Iraqi lawyers and jurists along with international committee of jurists call on Al-Iraqia T.V. to follow journalistic neutrality, and by respecting the common article 3 of the Geneva Conventions on prohibition of “attack on the honor and specially by respecting international laws, we call on that T.V. to read out immediately this statement in the news program for the same number of times and at the same time that all the Iranian regime ‘s lies were broadcasted.
