Former New York mayor Mr. Rudy Giuliani addressed the crowd at the Great Berlin Gathering on the occasion of the woman’s day.
Mr. Giuliani pointed to the West concession to fascist Hitler by saying: Is the history repeating itself? Dictators and Fascists only understand the language of force. We today are facing an ideology that is threatening all of us, an ideology that wants to violate our fundamental rights. Who is there to tell the mullahs that there is not going to be any agreement, unless they abandon their entire nuclear program.
Mr. Giuliani told the women in the audience to rise and see what is being done to their sisters in Iran, in Syria and in Yemen. They are treating them inhumanely. We cannot tolerate this treatment of women. This is misinterpretation of Islam; see what this misconceived Islam has done to the women?
Mr. Giuliani added: the United States is dealing with someone that is violating the rights of the women and is ordering the execution of thousands of people. What kind of reformist is Rouhani? The treatment of women is intolerable.
Mr. Giuliani attacked the continuous faulty policy of the United States regarding Iraq. He said: Look at this great gathering, see how Mrs. Rajavi can bring together more than 100,000 people in Paris. Who can say that there is no alternative in Iran? This is the alternative which has been established on the right principals, a non-nuclear Iran, an Iran which would have free elections and separation of religious and government.
Mr. Giuliani insisted on the need to insure the safety and security of Camp Liberty residents and said: I am ashamed of what has happened in the Camp Liberty. My country gave its solemn pledge to each and every one of the Camp Liberty residents to insure their security. My country must adhere to the pledge it made to those residents. The safety and the security of all of the residents must be insured. Iranian people will be free. That day is not far. Our president turned his back at those who protested in Iran in 2009. We must stand on the side of the Iranian people who are fighting for their freedom.
