Mrs. Kim Campbell, former Prime Minister of Canada insisted on the role of women in struggle for democracy

Former Canadian Prime Minister, Mrs. Kim Campbell addressed the crowd in the great Berlin Gathering by saying: this is my third appearance in front of you and I appreciate Mrs. Maryam Rajavi for inviting me to this great gathering. I always get inspired by the dynamism that women bring here. We cannot have an active democracy without women having a leading role in it. We cannot establish democracy without women having a role in creating that.
We therefore saw the power of women, the role of women in democracy in countries that reject democracy. Those are the countries that reject the women’s rights. Those countries that claim to be democrat and have elections, but don’t have any place for women in their society are cheating and lying.
Therefore women and their progress to establish democracy are absolutely necessary. Any leader that claims to lead a democratic society must assert on the women’s role.
Women are part of future; therefore we must establish equality among women and men in our societies and should go on in that direction.
