Secretary Genreral of the Association of Independent Iraqi Jurists in his article in Azzaman daily called the PMOI a legitimate resistance that is struggling for the freedom of the Iranian people, and asked the international community to support them.

Sofyan Abbas wrote in this article: The Iranian Resistance struggles for the freedom of Iran and its release from the oppression, suppression and brutality imposed by the mullahs’ dictator regime. Based on all international laws and covenants, this Resistance enjoys the right to legitimate resistance against the dictator regime of the mullahs.
“Despite all anti-human crimes of the Iranian rulers, the West continues its appeasement policy toward this regime for its runty economic interests. Whoever claims to support freedom should support the Iranian nation by supporting the National Council of Resistance of Iran that is the legitimate representative of the Iranian people and help them for putting an end to all types of oppression and repression.
