The Parliamentary Committee for a Free and Democratic Iran in Luxemburg Parliament released a statement and declared: Today the Iranian regime’s policy is a serious threat to the peace and security in the region and the world. Accusing its opposition of terrorism, is a serious blow to struggle against terrorism and a loophole for real terrorists.
On the invitation of Parliamentary Committee for a Free and Democratic Iran in Luxemburg Parliament, a press conference was held in the city of Luxemburg; in this conference the Committee co- chairs, Mark Angel, MP from ruling Social Democratic Party, Jean Hoss, MP from Green Party and member of European Council’s Parliamentary Assembly, delivered speeches, and then the statement of The Parliamentary Committee for a Free and Democratic Iran in Luxemburg Parliament wad released.
Part of the statement reads: While EU called recent parliamentary elections in Iran as undemocratic and unfair, maintaining its opposition in the terrorist lists doesn’t give a good message to the Iranian people. Particularly when the religious dictatorship uses this unjust designation to justify suppression and execution of its opponents; we, who respect the rule of law, join our colleagues in Europe so that the European Court of Justice verdict be implemented in Luxemburg and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) be removed from this list.
