Lord Alton: British government should support brave Iranian Resistance

The Universe Weekly, in its most recent issue published an article entitled “British government should support the brave Iranian Resistance” by Lord David Alton, Member of British House of Lords.

In this article, Lord Alton states that the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) is a legitimate resistance which leads the Iranian people’s struggle for democratic change. This brave resistance, which is designated in terrorist list due to the appeasement policy, must be supported. This designation must immediately be annulled.

Lord Alton wrote: Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the charismatic president of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), said: The decision of Proscribed Organizations Appeal Court (POAC) is another emphasis on the fact that the terrorist tag against the PMOI has been wrong and misleading.

Lord Alton added: Home Office Minister Tony McNulty had better accept the Court’s rule and avoid more embarrassment and condemnation. Thus the British government will ultimately recognize the Iranian people’s right for change of this evil regime which is presently the greatest threat to the peace and stability in the Middle East. Winston Churchill once said: “An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.” Mr. McNulty had better cease feeding this crocodile before it eats all of us.
