Italian MPs send messages of support to women in Ashraf and Liberty

Elisabetta Zamparutti, Italian MP and Joint Chair of the Italian Committee of Parliamentarians and Citizens for a Free Iran:
“My message is to continue resistance in these harsh times, especially for the women who are in Ashraf, and more importantly for those who have transferred to Camp Liberty. Because the very vital moment of the overthrow of the dictator mullahs’ in Iran is very near. Therefore, it is important and one must not forget that those who have struggled against this regime for years will put these hard times behind them.
My message to the international community is to continue helping the Iranian Resistance in reaching a solution for Camp Ashraf residents.
For me, another issue that is very important and respectful is that the Iranian Resistance has accepted women in leadership and this is exactly what makes the Iranian Resistance unique among other movements, and it is exactly the subject that the Iranian regime cannot and will not withstand. The regime in the phase of overthrow will receive the most severe and effective blow from this very element.”

Suoad Sbai, Italian MP
“My message to the international community is that it is futile to waste time. The international community must intervene immediately and free Ashraf and the women of Ashraf and all Iranian regime dissidents. The first thing is that Europe and US must move and one cannot close their eyes to the massacre that is currently taking place in that country, especially against women. Currently, the women of Ashraf must not be left deserted. We will dedicate the upcoming International Women’s Day to the women of Ashraf to be freed as soon as possible.
I have special greetings to Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance who is leading an enormous campaign and deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.”
