The Bani Khaled al-Makhzoumi tribe in Iraq issued a statement condemning the Iranian Embassy hired agents’ attack on Ashraf, calling on all international organizations with the UN topping the list to prevent such a vicious crime from taking place again.
“We were informed that with the cooperation of the embassy of the Iranian fascist regime in Baghdad agents who are supposedly the Iraqi government prepared a number of traitors and mercenaries and attacked Ashraf residents with Molotov cocktails,” this statement reads. Referring to the fact that this attack was in response to the Spanish National Court ruling and following the Iranian caretaker Foreign Minister’s hasty visit to Baghdad to control the grave consequences of this ruling in regards to the Iranian regime and its elements in Iraq, this statement continues:
“The Bani Khaled al-Makhzoumi tribe in Iraq calls on international organizations, mainly the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, and all human rights and refugee rights organizations to intervene to prevent such crimes from taking place again. We also call on the heroic people and noble sheikhs of Iraq to carry out their role, stand against these crimes and prevent them from reaching their objectives against the defenseless Ashraf residents.”
