The letter of the Iraqi National Movement to the PMOI members of Ashraf City, on May 27, 2008, reads:

Dear brothers and sisters,
Thanks God that you are all safe.
I would like to express our solidarity with all sisters and brothers in the city of Ashraf and with the people of Iran who have been suppressed by the mullahs who have no mission other than harassing the humanity.
We strongly condemn these brutal actions against our brothers and sisters in Ashraf and we would like to emphasize that we support you wholeheartedly which will continue up to your victory.
Our best regards to all sisters and brothers; may God help us all to serve the humanity.
