Regarding the crimes committed by Maliki’s forces against Liberty residents Sheikh Rafe al-Refaei said, “Those in Camp Liberty are refugees and countries must accept the laws they have agreed with. These refugees, who were in Ashraf before, and are now in Liberty, have endured the most cruelty by Maliki’s government and its militants through orders issued by Iran. The world has witnessed crimes in Ashraf and all the world is aware of what is taking place in Liberty, from the cruel siege on food stuffs, medical services and even depleting sewage water that has resulted to the spread of illnesses. They are now adjacent to the Baghdad airport and under siege, and everyone knows this…”
Reports issued by the UN about the situation in Iraq not only refused to refer to the crimes the Iraqi government committed against them, in fact they supported this cruel government.
