Iran’s mullahs scramble for survival

In an article by Alireza Jaafarzadeh in its internet website, Fox News warned of the threat of acquiring nuclear weapon by Iran and its meddling in Iraq, and demanded removal of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) from the terrorist list.

With reference to Iranian Resistance’s revelation about Farhadi, the Qods member captured in Iraq, and his role in terrorist activities, the article says: : Lt. Gen. Raymond Odierno, the top commander of day-to-day operations in Iraq, called Farhadi a “significant” player who had been involved in supporting Iraqi militias with money, weapons and training. On October 7, 2007, Gen. David Petraeus, the U.S. commander in Iraq, said that Tehran’s ambassador to Baghdad, Hassan Kazemi-Qomi, was a member of the Qods Force.

It is worth noting that the PMOI had already revealed the identity of Hassan Kazemi-Qomi, as a senior commander of the Qods Force.

Regarding spreading out of the Iranian people’s protest, the article added: With threats advancing upon them from every side, Tehran’s ruling clerics are scrambling for survival. The United States should hit the mullahs where it hurts them the most: remove the politically-driven and ill-advised terror tag from the main Iranian opposition, the MEK as that label has acted a barrier to democratic change in Iran. Failure to do so would help the Ayatollahs to get the bomb and turn Iraq into a sister Islamic Republic.
