According to received reports, the suppressive State Security Forces in Iran attacked a Sunni religious ceremony in Saqqez (western Iranian city) and arrested 300 people.

This ceremony was held following after a religious group’s call for the ceremony in which hundreds participated. The witnesses said a number of leaders of the religious group are among detainees.
Similar attacks have taken place in other cities in Kurdistan province.
