Deadline and mandatory relocation of Ashraf asylum seekers is a flagrant violation of human rights. We call on all human rights activists to support Ashraf.

Ashraf residents’ families and supporters gathered once again before the UN European Headquarters in Geneva on the 189th day of their unlimited sit-in, calling on the UN to save the lives of their loved ones in Ashraf.
These participants say we have been here for 189 days and if something happens, no organization can say we didn’t know or didn’t see and all of these organizations will be held accountable. These relatives of Ashraf residents have time and again participated in marches and protest rallies, demanding from the UN and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay to take action on this grave issue.
Mr. Paolo Casaca, former Member of the European Parliament participated in the sit-in on this day. He delivered a speech and hailed Ashraf residents’ perseverance while expressing his support to continue this path to gain protection for Ashraf.
