Political prisoner Reza Shahabi, who has been on hunger strike for more than 20 days, was transferred to Gohardasht Prison clinic after his physical conditions severely deteriorated. In the clinic the prisoner that accompanied Shahabi asked the clinic chief to inject a food serum to him, but the clinic chief refused and said he first has to end his hunger strike hunger strike and we will not inject a serum to him at all!, reports indicate.
Shahabi cannot even stand up and can only walk with the help of his cellmates. (NCRI – July 1, 2014)
