Iran: political prisoner summoned to court yet again

Political prisoner Arjhang Davoudi was summoned to court by the mullahs’ regime and placed on trial. This farce prosecution in the city of Bandar Abbas was carried out in the 3rd branch of the regime’s so-called courts, reports from inside Iran indicate.
Davoudi was facing charges of supporting the PMOI and therefore sentenced to moharebe “enmity against God”. Reports indicate the charges raised against Davoudi will be reviewed by Asef Hosseini, head of the 1st branch of courts in Karaj, and he will issue the ruling.
“Arjhang Davoudi must remain in jail and should not be released at all,” the judge said to Davoudi’s lawyer.
The case against Arjhang Davoudi was opened two years by the mullah-fabricated charge of propaganda activities and cooperation with “system dissidents”. He was first prosecuted in Karaj and regime officials also opened another dossier against him for writing insulting slogans against Khamenei in prison bathrooms.
