On Monday, June 9th, political prisoner and labor activist Reza Shahabi surpassed his 9th day on hunger strike in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj, west of Tehran.
Shahabi is suffering from various illnesses in his spinal cord, and arrangements were made for him to undergo surgery. This prisoner is protesting his exile from ward 350 in Tehran’s Evin Prison to Gohardasht Prison.
