Adnan Abbas, member of the Iraqi National Front for Freedom delivered a speech hailing Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance and the heroic residents of Ashraf, while stressing on the responsibilities of the U.S. and UN regarding the protection of Ashraf.
“The Iraqi people demand Ashraf to remain and for PMOI members to continue their presence in the camp, not to mention that the protection of Ashraf is of importance to them,” he said.
Dr. Mohammad Sheikhli, head of the Iraqi Center of Studies in London announced his support for the protesters’ demands based on protection of Ashraf by the UN and U.S.
“We are obligated to send Ashraf’s message to the UN and the international community must rise to its responsibility in respect to the protection of Ashraf,” Sheikhli said.
“The Spanish court writ has summoned Maliki and the same criminals who suppress and kill the Iraqi people in demonstrations, receiving their orders from the Iranian regime,” he added.
