In a session in Brussels with the participation of a number of representatives from the European Parliament, Belgian Senate and Parliament and the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, the speakers condemned the mullah’ crimes and stressed on the necessity of support of the third option initiated by Mrs. Rajavi for democratic change in Iran.
This session was held on the invitation of the Iranians Human Rights Society in Brussels and was chaired by Mr. Jean Pierre Malmendier, head of the Victims’ Rights Center and former Belgian MP and Senator.
In the beginning of the session a shocking film of the violation of human rights in Iran, suppression of youth and students and public execution was shown. Then Jean Pierre Malmendier said: We hope some day this infamous government is overthrown and the Iranian people attain freedom and democracy and the rule of law.
Then Mrs. Piia Noora Kaupi, the EU representative from Finland, condemning the EU appeasement policy with the mullahs’ regime said: If somebody is afraid of a new war in the region, the solution wouldn’t be to continue the appeasement policy, because at the same time that we are engaged in useless negotiations, the Iranian regime is busy enriching Uranium and when they are on the verge of making nuclear bomb, the war would become inevitable. A solution joined by many others is the third option of Mrs. Rajavi which is an Iranian solution for this problem. The famed third option of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, and the only way to establish democracy in Iran without undergoing a new war in the Gulf region, is winning more support….The European Union should correct the past mistakes by removing the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran from the EU terrorist list and inserting the Islamic Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and Quds Force in that list.
The next speakers were Mohammad Mohaddessin, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), Dr Helmut Markov, EU representative from Left Coalition in Germany, Senator Els Schelfhout, member of Belgian Senate Foreign Relation Commission who all condemned the brutal violation of human rights by the IRGC and asked EU to remove the PMOI from terrorist list.
