The Dutch Group of Friends of a Free Iran, headed by Prof. dr. Henk de Haan, in a letter to the MNF-I, called Ali Dabbagh’s remarks against the PMOI residents in Ashraf City flagrant violation of the Geneva Convention and International Human Rights and announced: Our Committee supports the objectives of the National Council of Resistance of Iran which is to believe in keeping international standards and guaranteeing human rights for every individual in the society and respecting them.
The letter added: We strongly ask you to notify the Iraqi government to avoid such irresponsible remarks; we also ask that all limitations that have been imposed on the PMOI, as a democratic and anti-fundamentalist movement, be removed and their rights be guaranteed and recognized.
