After the Iraqi Shiite figures announced the declaration against the meddling of the Iranian regime in southern Iraq, the Al-Jazeera T.V. broadcasted a detailed program on this issue. The followings are parts of the comments made by figures who participated in the program:

Deputy governor of Karbala Jawad al-Hassnawi: “we have evidences, documents and recorded tapes showing and proving it was the Quds force that conducted the operation in Karbala and from rooftops shot at people; even some of the snipers were Iranians.”

Iraqi political activist Sheikh Latif al-Saadi: “the declaration states the realities; since there are no media are present, the people of Iraq and especially in southern Iraq are frustrated by Iran’s intelligence ministry and this regime’s agents who are now ruling Iraq . They have spread all over in southern Iraq and tried to change the language of the people; they aggressed the honor of the people and have promoted prostitution, have distributed drugs, the have killed the people, the pilot … the agents of Iranian regime steal Iraqi oil and transfer it to Iran…We want new elections without the control of militias who came from Iran. Last election was completely controlled by Iran…We tell the Iranian regime : Take your agents and soldiers out of Iraq! Iranian regime interferes in everywhere, not only in Iraq, but in every corner of the world; in the gulf region, in Bahrain and other countries.”
