INTV, 26 Nov 2013 – During the past few days Professor Lord Alton, a member of the UK House of Lords and a long supporter of the Iranian Resistance, along with MP Dr. Mathew Offord, Malcolm Fowler, representative of the UK Bar Association Human Rights Committee, and MP John Crier from the Conservative Party visited the Iranian hunger strikers’ camp in London and delivered speeches.
Condemning the silence and inaction seen from the US, UK and UN, these dignitaries called for the immediate release of the seven Ashrafi hostages, security guarantees for Camp Liberty and establishing an international fact-finding commission to evaluate the criminal September 1 attack against Ashraf.
