Bloody clashes between poor villagers and suppressive state forces in northwest of Iran

Bloody clashes between poor villagers and suppressive state forces in northwest of Iran

In a confrontation between the people of Moghan (Northwestern Iran) and the criminal State Security Forces (SSF) agents two people were killed and a number of others injures; two of the injured people are in critical condition; the clash occurred on Monday afternoon when the people of Parsabad-e-Moghan protested against usurpation of their lands by the military organs of the regime; the criminal agents opened fire at the people and killed and wounded a number of them.

In fear of anger and disgust of the people, the city’s provisional council held an emergency session with the presence of governor and ordered the SSF and security forces to be stationed at various points of the city; the special forces from the neighboring cities were also dispatched to the area.

Based on latest reports, an unannounced martial law has been imposed on the city.
