Ms. Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy reiterated to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari that Ashraf residents’ security is the EU’s main concern, EU foreign service reported.
On the other hand, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry reported Labid Ebavi, Zebari’s deputy has met with the Spanish envoy in Baghdad and complained about Camp Ashraf and the damages Ashraf residents have imposed on Iraq. In fear of the Spanish National Court, the Iraqi Deputy Foreign Minister also called for strengthening bilateral relations between Baghdad and Madrid, meaning to sign huge economic deals to flee from the consequences of the Spanish court and the prosecution of Maliki, Gheidan and other criminals and murderers of Ashraf residents.
