“In France, around 5,000 mayors signed a declaration calling for the lifting of the blockade inflicted on Camp Ashraf,” al-Rafidain TV reported. “In this declaration the signatories insisted they consider Ashraf as their sister city that represents the Iranian people’s democratic aspirations.

They also called on the UN Secretary General to bring to an end the violence imposed on Ashraf residents.”
