44 Iraqi sheikhs, organizations condemn preparations to repeat massacre against Iranian dissidents

44 sheikhs, tribal sheikh councils, charity foundations and civil society organizations in various Iraqi provinces issued statements condemning the conference held by Maliki’s National Security Advisor Falah Fayaz, ‘Iraq For All’ website reported.
These statements described the conference as preparing the grounds to repeat the massacre of Iranian dissidents, going on to hold the United Nations and US government completely responsible for the protection of Ashraf and Liberty residents.
These statements viewed the implementation of such an infamous plot as being in the devious interests of the Iranian regime to annihilate its dissidents in Iraq. The statements went on to call on the international community and especially the US government to impose pressure on the Iraqi government to prevent the execution of this notorious plan.
The signatories of these statements also declared Mr. Martin Kobler’s stance on Iraqi government plans and agendas has not only been biased, in fact by taking part in paving the path for this massacre he is actually a supporter of the Iraqi government, which is against his responsibilities and duties.
The signatories of these statements supported the 8-point demands raise by Camp Ashraf residents, describing the fulfillment of these requests is the indicator of no ill intentions being pursued by the Iraqi government in the residents’ transfer to Liberty.
