In Iran protest news, expelled workers of the Duzan National Textile Production Company in this city in Kurdistan Province staged a gathering outside the office of this company on Monday, August 3rd, protesting the closing of this company and not receiving their unemployment insurance.
This company was closed down in April 2013 due to bankruptcy and the workers have been unemployed for over a year now without receiving their salaries or unemployment insurance.

Expelled workers of the Iran Khodro Company in Tehran rallied on Tuesday, August 5th, protesting being expelled from work. These workers are demanding to return to work.
The reason why they were expelled was for protesting against the regime’s officials in this company in response to the workers’ protests.

A group of youths in the Quds Square clashed and delivered a severe beating to a number of Revolutionary Guards agents. These clashes, erupting at 7 pm local time on Wednesday, August 6th, took place when 3 IRGC agents stopped the vehicle of 6 youths, demanding them to hand over the car keys or be transferred to their base. The youths resisted and the IRGC agents were severely beaten and wounded. The IRGC were so severely beaten that they were transferred to a hospital by taxi.


Isfahan
Following an explosion in a steel mill in this city and toxic fumes spreading throughout the area on Monday, August 4th, a group of people in these two cities rallied Wednesday, August 6th, outside the regime’s municipality office. The demonstrators protested why regime officials did not inform the people of such toxic fumes spreading throughout the city.
