Workers’ protest in front of the Parliament in Tehran

Hundreds of workers gathered in front of the Parliament in the capital city, Tehran on Tuesday, April 28th calling for unity amongst workers, teachers and students. The gathering was on the eve of the International Labor Day March calling for a nationwide protest on the May Day Rally. So far more than 250 workers have gathered and the number is growing every hour.
They are protesting against Rouhani regime’s anti-labor policies shouting “Laborers would die but will not surrender to the repressive policies of the government.” A large number of women have also joined the rally.
