Rial continues to plunge and the price of foreign currency in Iran remains on the rise, with the dollar reaching 17,000 rials.
The state-run Asr-e Iran wrote: “US dollar could not be found in non-official markets and most customers received responses such as there is no dollar, no euros, which caused an increase in the price of the dollar in the unofficial market. The US dollar was traded at 16,950 rials, while the euro was 22,000 rials, Canadian dollar at 17,300 rials and the English pound at 27,200 rials.”
