On the morning of Saturday, September 20th, based on previous calls made by the families of Dervish inmates that are currently on hunger strike, they held a large rally along with many other Dervish community members outside the regime’s prosecutor office in Tehran, condemning the inhumane pressures imposed by the Iranian regime.
According to reports from inside Iran the regimes’ police and intelligence agents attacked the protesting families and arrested 300 of them, in fear of this protest rally spreading. Security forces attacked the protesting families while there were small children among them.
Those arrested were taken with over 30 police vans to an unknown location. Intel agents and police forces prevented protesters from even sitting or standing outside the public prosecutor’s office.
