The collective protest of car exhibition owners against lootings by Traffic police

A number of car exhibition owners on “Mottahari” street protested on Monday Dec. 29th against looting habits by traffic police.
The protesters said: the municipality and the traffic police have already charged us for parking fees, but now they are slapping fine on us under the pretext of blocking the road and towing away our cars.
They stressed that from the beginning of 2014 there has been many cases of car seizing from exhibitions in Tehran by the municipality. Some were released after paying tax for usage of Mottahari Street, but the Traffic police now is ignoring those cases and are trying to charge us again.
It is necessary to say that the Mullahs’ 2015 budget has been counting on driving fines and penalties to cover at least %33 of the budget. This is another means of plundering the people.
