Rock Ceramic Factory in Shahreza, Isfahan, gathered to protest against a decision by the factory officials to let them go. They gathered in front of the governor’s building on Monday Dec. 29th.
A protesting worker said: last night in a meeting of management council, a decision was made to lay off more than 200 workers, and today we are gathered here to pave the way for the rehiring the laid off workers back to the job.
The Rock Ceramic Factory is located 30 kilometers west of Isfahan and produces ceramics of various dimensions. This Factory started operating 2 years ago through domestic and foreign investments.
