Traditional goods storeowners in Tehran’s Tajrish Bazaar had closed their shops for 1½ hours protesting extortion by the Iranian regime’s officials. On Wednesday, March 2nd, these storeowners went on strike protesting measures by state officials intending to plunder their property.
State officials have been placing pressure on these storeowners under various pretexts, according to the bazaar merchants.
