Iran official claims the Islamic country does not execute juveniles, despite overwhelming evidence by both Iranian opposition and Amnesty International

Mohammad Javad Larijani, head of the Human Rights Bureau of Iran’s judiciary said in a question raised by a CNN reporter on executions in Iran, the execution of juveniles and executions on drug offenders.
“On the execution of juveniles, I have to say that currently we have no such practice,” he said.
In response to a question on various reports based on executing all men of a village due to drug offences he said, “You have to understand that the male population of a village with only 5 or 6 families living will be only 5 or 6 men, and all may have drug offences!… In the media in Iran we witnessed some news in this regard. This is not the entire society. Although the number of executions are high, especially regrding drug related charges, but it can be a small village.”
