Syrians living in France held a demonstration outside the Iranian regime’s embassy in Paris condemning its support for Bashar Assad.
The demonstrators chanted slogans against clerical dictatorship to show their anger over its cooperation in the killing and repression of the Syrian people.
“The Iranian regime provides financial support for the Assad regime, sending equipment and forces to participate in the repression,” the spokesman of the National Union for Syrian Revolution said to AFP. “In northeast Syria, the Iranian regime’s repressive agents are in plain clothes taking part in the crackdown.”
In addition to Syrians living Paris, Yemenis and Egyptians in this city also took part in the demonstration supporting the Syrian people’s uprising and condemning the Iranian regime’s cooperation in repressing the Syrian people, al-Arabiya TV reported.
