Sheikh Kazem al-Anizan, head of the Arabic Tribal Council – South warned about the possible assassination of Iraqi sheikhs by the Iranian regime’s terrorist Quds Force.
“Sources in the Arabic Tribal Council – South have informed us that the names of a number of Arab sheikhs in the south, central Euphrates and western areas have come from Iran to be eliminated by the Iranian regime’s intelligence service, Quds Force and insurgents affiliated to the Quds Force,” al-Anizan said in an interview with al-Rafidain TV. “The most recent assassinations were the murder of two people this week. The first victim was in Qadessiya Province by the name of Sheikh Emad al-Badiri and the second was Sheikh Emad al-Sakban. The Iranian regime is seeking to eliminate patriotic and Arabic tribal figures in Iraq.”
