Alireza Nakha’i, head of education in Sistan & Baluchistan Province (southeast Iran) downgraded the illiteracy crisis in this province and said on Saturday, July 18th, “There are around 37,000 completely illiterate people in Sistan & Baluchistan Province, and the reason is their families’ poverty.”
It is worth noting that this regime official had said on June 1st in another session that the number of illiterate people in this province is 400,000, while 162,000 are below the age of 50.
These shocking numbers resemble the hollow promises made by Rouhani and his regime about resolving the poverty problem in Iran.
