US President Barack Obama met with Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir on Friday, July 17th in the White House discussing the recent agreement signed with Iran.
The White House issued a statement on Friday saying Obama’s other objective in this meeting with the Saudi top diplomat was to emphasize on increasing the US role in providing security in the Middle East and discussing the situation on the ground in Yemen.
Prior to this the Saudi Foreign Minister had met with American counterpart John Kerry emphasizing Riyadh will take firm action if it sees any wickedness by Tehran in the region.

Republican Senator John Thune also said in an interview with MSNBC the provisions provided by the Obama administration’s nuclear agreement with Iran depict a bad deal. We are talking about a regime that to this day has aggressed, threatened and terrorized the entire Middle East, he added. By lifting the sanctions we will place billions of dollars at Iran’s disposal and facilitate its aggressions, he continued.
Senator Thune also said he has deep suspicion on this deal with Iran.
