“In the 2009 sedition (uprisings) the people faced a tough situation, many political doubts spread out in the society and many gave up vis-à-vis these doubts and hardships”, said IRGC Commander Jaffari in a gathering of his forces in the city of Qom, while reminiscing the regime’s nightmare in the popular 2009 uprisings, Fars News Agency reported.
“Some gave up vis-à-vis these pressures, expressing other views”, he added. “The IRGC is the guardian of the Islamic Revolution and for the reason of safeguarding the revolution the IRGC must be vigilant to all enemy threats, in order to be able to counter it in any ground that the enemy infiltrates”.
