Rising tension in Iran’s Majlis (parliament)

The Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) opened its session on Monday, with Rouhani’s foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif being summoned, saw tensions rising and clashes erupting between the members, the state-run IRNA news agency reported on Tuesday, May 6th.
When Zarif was responding to a question, two other members by the names of Ibrahim Agha Mohammadi and Kazem Jallali started disputing and using vulgar language against each other.
Agha Mohammad (a Majlis member loyal to Khamenei) protested Kazem Jalali’s behavior who called on other members to not vote for questioning of the minister, and this led to rising tensions in the Majlis.
Speaker Ali Larijani cut off Zarif’s speech and called on all Majlis members to take their seats.
