Condoleezza Rice, US Secretary of State, responding a question regarding Ahmadinejad’s trip to Iraq, said that the Iranian regime should cease training and sending arms to those would kill Iraqi innocent people and the MNFI.

In an interview with Al-Hurra TV, David Satterfield, US State Department’s senior advisor in Iraqi affairs asked for halting the Iranian regime’s measures for creation of instability and insecurity in Iraq.

David Satterfield said that Iran’s function has been different from what it says; Iran still supports most of the extremist armed groups in Iraq by arming and training them, and thus Tehran, not only does not try to reduce the number of killings and injuries among the MNFI, on the contrary, it tries to flare up insecurity and instability in Iraq and that is what needs to be stopped.
