Hundreds of Iran Electric Meter Industry and Low Usage Utility Factory workers staged a protest gathering on Tuesday Mar. 3rd to oppose five months of unpaid salaries and wages.
About 820 workers from both companies had taken part in this rally which is being operated under the same leadership.
Workers also expressed their opposition to the dismissal of 150 of their coworkers from the company right before the New Year arrival which they say would deprive them from having a decent New Year ceremony for their children and family. They called this action by the management a cruel act and demanded their return to the job.
