Metal bazaar workers in city of ‘Sove’ (southwest of Tehran) continued their strike and after receiving no response from the authorities, they decided to march towards the city governor office.
Following this decision around 400 striking workers continued their demonstration despite efforts by the regime’s police to disperse the crowd.

The regime authorities are refusing to pay the workers’ paychecks that have been delayed for the past 7 months, raising serious anger amongst the workers.
Workers of the Safa pipe factory threatened to go on strike if their delayed paychecks are not provided until Tuesday.
The Open Labor Union of Iran said taking the workers’ paychecks “hostage” is a flagrant theft and a violation of the rights of the workers and their families. This entity completely supported the workers’ demands.
