A number of pastry store owners in the city of Shahr Kord near Isfahan staged a sit-in protesting the increasing price of sugar, refusing to open their stores on Wednesday, April 10th. According to reports from this city the price of sugar varies each day and presented more expensive to the market each day.
Workers of the “West Ashkan Saze Company” located in the Dehgolan industrial complex in Kurdistan Province rallied on Tuesday, April 8th, demanding an increase in salaries and pensions.
The workers threatened to go on strike if their pensions are not provided.
