Harana, October 16, 2012 – Iranian regime agents in Evin prison, ward 305, are preventing medical treatment of Hamid Moradi, a Sufi Muslims of the Nematollahi Gonabadi order (Gonabadi dervishes). Suffering from hearth and arteries disease, his health is deteriorating. 
Nasrin Sotoudeh, a lawyer inmate, has also threatened to go on hunger strike due to obstructing her visiting her two minor children.
Nasrin Sotoudeh who was the lawyer of a number of political prisoners were arrested by Ministry of Intelligences’ forces two years ago and initially sentenced to 15 years imprisonment that was later changed to 8 years. To pressure her, the prison authorities deny her the right to visit her children.
In protest to inhumane treatment by Iranian regime’s henchmen in Zahedan prison, South-east of Iran, a political prisoner went on hunger strike. Through a letter to human rights societies, Mohammad Amin Agushi, a teacher, said that in a martial court in West Azerbaijan, he had been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment and exile to Zahedan. He also pointed out that due to poverty his family had to sell a family member’s kidney to afford the expenses of the trip to Zahedan to visit him.
