Political prisoners held in hall 12 of Ward 4 in Gohardasht Prison, west of Tehran, chanted “Down with Khamenei” and “Down with Dictator” and “Down with the Cruel”, protesting a vicious raid conducted by the regime’s agents in this dungeon.
On Saturday, January 25th, dozens of special prison guards and Revolutionary Guards members attacked political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison. The agents first inspected all of the political prisoners’ cells, destroying the personal items of the defenseless prisoners and or stealing them. Then they transferred the prisoners outside in the freezing winter cold. The political prisoners in response to this inhumane behavior by the special guard began chanting slogans such as “Down with Khamenei”, “Down with Dictator” and “Down with the Cruel”. Fearing this rally would spread, the repressive forces fled hall 12 instantly.
Criminals such as Bahraini, head of the prison’s intelligence office, Amirian, deputy warden, and Mr. Aghaei took part and commanded this vicious and inhumane against the political prisoners.
