Asgar Oladi, head of the Iranian regime’s joint chamber of commerce with China in recent remarks admitted a harsh economic era is awaiting the mullahs’ regime.
“With dollar imports rating at 16,000 rials and considering the country’s current status of production, in the next 6 months we will be literally facing a ‘drought ‘ and we will have to resort to smuggling to procure our basic daily needs,” Oladi warned.
In remarks aimed at Ahmadinejad, Oladi said: “While inflation is rating at 40% and the central bank is not providing any statistics, it is not in our interest to carry out the second phase of the smart subsidiary plan.”
