INTV, 7 Oct 2013 – Gohar Eshghi, the mother of Sattar Beheshti, killed under torture by the regime’s forces in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, voiced new protests regarding an indictment issued stating her son’s murder was unintended.
“The ruling of the prosecutor in this case was unexpected for us because prior to that all the talks were about premeditated murder,” she said.
“My demand as a mother is for a completely just and open court to be held so that my son’s blood is not trampled,” Ms. Eshghi added.
