Following Ottawa’s decision severing all diplomatic relations with the clerical regime, closing the mullahs’ embassy and expelling its terrorist diplomats from Canada, the mullahs’ Majlis (parliament) speaker Ali Larijani was practically unable to travel to Canada to take part in a inter-parliamentary summit, the state-run Fars news agency reported.
“Larijani cancelled his trip to Canada protesting Ottawa’s anti-Iranian policies and the closure of this country’s embassy in Tehran,” the Revolutionary Guards’ news agency reported.
“Larijani was to travel to Canada leading a Majlis delegation,” Fars added.
