Kuwait daily al-Seyassah wrote a piece on Friday coovering the role of Iran and its regional proxies in terrorist plots:
– Iranian military intelligence recruited, financed, armed and… the militants and Hezbollah provided training to these recruits in its bases.
– The clothing confiscated is not related to Kuwait’s army; it also includes the armies of other regional countries.
– The confiscated ordnance includes Kuwaiti aerial maps showing locations of military bases, training grounds and oil fields.
– Iranian intelligence provided explosives and money to the suspects through the sea and officials in Tehran’s embassy in Kuwait provided them the support they needed to enter the country.
– All the confiscated weapons were in good and usable conditions. Trained individuals have placed them in warehouses to be used to bomb vehicles and various facilities.
– Tapping devices and wireless communications control equipment including iComs, Range and other devices used to spy on various meetings were amongst the items confiscated.
Quite contrary to the Iranian regime’s claims on honoring Kuwait’s independence and sovereignty, and its claims of supporting peace and stability in Gulf countries, general prosecutor’s office investigations in the al-Abdali case emphasize on firm evidence that Tehran has completely violated the customs of good neighborliness.
The investigations that Kuwait’s al-Seyassah daily has become informed of prove that one can never be safe of the schemes and plots of Iran and its ally, Hezbollah, and one can never trust them.
Iran and Hezbollah are placing an ambush for Kuwait, waiting for the right moment to carry out their devious plot, which goes much farther than Kuwait and is targeting many other neighboring countries, this daily added.
The general prosecutor’s investigations in the case referred to the court reveals that Iran’s military intelligence apparatus has since 1988 to this day recruited, financed and trained the al-Abduly cell, waiting for the proper timing and specific orders from Tehran.
