Yadollah Javani, Khamenei’s advisor in the Revolutionary Guards admitted to the regime’s meddling and causing all kinds of havoc in the Middle East.
“Today’s proxy wars have engulfed the entire region and Iran is a party in these wars,” he said in an interview on July 23rd. He went on to explain how he is not upbeat about regional developments, “On one side of this war are oppressive and associated governments, and the other side are the nations of Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Bahrain, and Iran represents them.”
He went on to emphasize on Tehran’s policy of exporting fundamentalism and terrorism in the region, and meddling in other countries, yet expressed concerns in saying, “I am not upbeat about regional developments.”
